The same connector URL works in both. You sign in to ManageYourGym with your normal login and approve the connection on a consent page.

- In Claude (claude.ai or the desktop app), open Settings and go to Connectors.
- Choose Add custom connector and paste the connector URL above.
- Select Connect, sign in to ManageYourGym, and approve on the consent page.
- Ask a question about your gym. Claude Code and the Claude mobile app use the same connector URL and sign-in.
Connect ChatGPT
- In ChatGPT, turn on developer mode for apps. Availability depends on your ChatGPT plan and workspace settings.
- Add a new app and paste the connector URL above.
- Select Connect, sign in to ManageYourGym, and approve on the consent page.
- Start a chat, choose the app, and ask a question about your gym.
What it can and can’t see
By default an assistant can look, but it can’t create, change or delete anything. And it never sees more than the person who connected it can see in the app.

Phone numbers are masked in every list. A full number appears only when an assistant looks up one member, and only if an owner or admin has left that setting on.
Changes only with your yes
Once changes are switched on for your gym, an assistant can do the work as well as answer: book, move or cancel a personal-training session, record how it went, set up or cancel a class, and create or assign training programmes and diet plans.

Every change is shown to you as a preview, and nothing happens until you confirm it.
Health notes respected
A programme or diet plan that clashes with a client’s recorded health information is flagged before it is saved.

AI assistants — frequently asked questions
Can an assistant change anything?
Only where your gym has changes switched on, and only with your yes. By default the connector is read-only: it looks things up and answers. With changes on, an assistant can book or move personal-training sessions, set up classes and assign programmes and diet plans, and it shows you each change before anything happens. It never records payments, edits members or sends messages.
Which plans include it?
The connector works on every plan. Questions about revenue, attendance trends and peak hours need Advanced Analytics, which is included in Professional, Enterprise and the free trial. Everything else follows the same plan and role rules as the ManageYourGym app.
Can my staff use it?
Yes. Owners, admins and staff each connect with their own ManageYourGym login, and each person sees exactly what their role sees in the app. A staff member who cannot see revenue in the app cannot see it through an assistant either.
What about my members’ privacy?
Member emails, notes, photos, health data and invoices are never shared. Phone numbers are masked in lists, and a full number appears only when an assistant looks up a single member, and only if an owner or admin has left that setting on — and it can be switched off. We do not store questions asked through the connector, or the answers. The answer text goes to the assistant provider you chose, under that provider’s own terms and privacy policy.
Can I disconnect an assistant?
Any time. Open Settings, then Connected apps, and choose Disconnect. Owners and admins can disconnect any connection for the gym; staff can disconnect their own. The assistant can no longer request data as soon as you do.
Does it cost extra?
ManageYourGym does not charge extra for the connector. You will need your own Claude or ChatGPT account, and whether custom connectors are available depends on that provider’s plan.
